Securing Your Noble Companion
To reserve one of our premium Maine Coon kittens, we require a reservation deposit of $500. This deposit ensures your chosen kitten is exclusively reserved for you and is applied toward the total adoption fee.
We take great care in matching our kittens with the right families, thoughtfully screening each potential adopter to ensure every kitten is placed in a loving, stable, and lifelong home.
Their wellbeing is our top priority, we encourage you to take the time to be fully confident in your decision before placing a deposit, as our policies are designed to protect and support each kitten’s future.
Our Fair Deposit Policy
We understand that circumstances can change. Our deposit policy is designed to be fair while protecting the welfare of our kittens:
- 95% of your deposit is refundable if you decide not to proceed with the adoption
- A 5% processing fee covers administrative costs associated with your reservation
- Once reserved, we immediately remove the kitten from available listings, potentially declining other qualified adopters
- Your deposit also covers continued premium care, nutrition, and socialization of your kitten until they join your family
Health Guarantee for Reserved Kittens
In the rare event your reserved kitten develops a health issue that prevents adoption, we offer:
- A full 100% refund of your deposit
- The option to transfer your deposit to another available premium kitten of your choice
72-Hour Veterinary Health Examination
We require all adopters to have their kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of taking possession. This health check protects both you and your kitten:
- If a pre-existing health condition is discovered, you may return the kitten for a full refund of the adoption fee (excluding the deposit)
- Alternatively, you may receive a replacement premium kitten when one becomes available
- Our health guarantee covers genetic conditions and congenital defects that were not apparent at the time of adoption
Extended Health Coverage
Our commitment extends beyond the initial 72-hour period:
- We provide a 1-year genetic health guarantee against fatal congenital defects
- We offer ongoing health consultation and support throughout your Maine Coon’s life
Our Return Policy
Returns Within 72 Hours
If you need to return your kitten within the initial 72-hour period for health reasons verified by your veterinarian, we offer:
- A full refund of the adoption fee (excluding the deposit)
- Priority placement for a replacement kitten from our next available litter
Returns After 72 Hours
We understand that life circumstances can change unexpectedly:
- We will accept any kitten back into our care regardless of age or reason
- While no refund is provided after 72 hours, we ensure every returned kitten receives:
- Comprehensive health examination
- Updated vaccinations and veterinary care
- Professional re-socialization
- Placement in a carefully screened new loving home
Situations Not Covered by Refund
To maintain transparency and manage expectations, please note that refunds are not provided for:
- Change of mind or lifestyle changes after receiving your kitten
- Allergies discovered after adoption (we recommend pre-adoption allergy testing)
- Incompatibility with existing pets (we offer expert guidance for successful introductions)
- Behavioral issues that can be addressed with proper training and patience
- Health conditions developing after the 72-hour period not covered by our health guarantee
- Transportation costs are non-refundable once arrangements have been made
